Shteeni's Knits Again!

2 days ago, I was sitting in my car, waiting for T's bus and reading my mail. I noticed I had received my Blue Moon Fiber Arts  Rockin' Sock Club package. I was seriously considering giving it away. But, I was curious, so I took a peek.

I haven't been in the best of spirits lately. The last time I was at my oncologists office, he mentioned that I may be on chemotherapy for a lot longer than originally planned. I really truly try to be strong, but, I have to tell you CHEMO WEEK SUCKS!!!

As you may recall, I haven't really been feeling the whole knitting thing since the surgery. I CAN knit, I just don't feel like it.

At any rate, I opened the package to find this absolutely breathtaking skein of  oranges, reds, pinks and golds. The skein is aptly named FIREBIRD. Wow. Just what I needed! A firebird is also known as a Phoenix. I am going to take this as a sign that I need to rise out of those ashes, sooner than later. So along with Poison Ivy, that's it for now!

Good Morning Everybody!

I just wanted to say how Thankful I am to be here this year.  Our family was blessed enough to have lots of help for this Thanksgiving Dinner!  Thank you to all who have been around helping, it truly has been appreciated!

We are going to sit in the living room and go through the rest of the stash sale stuff and get it out in the mail tomorrow, while everyone else is shopping (less stress for me :)  )  That's the plan.  And I am going to rest and get back to as many emails as possible today.

I have come to the conclusion that I am a bit strange.  Here I have this blog and I hide it from people, because I am afraid that I might offend someone by what I have said.  HELLO, CHRISTINE, it is supposed to be a journal of my feelings.  I. MUST. GET. OVER. THIS.

You are going to be so excited...

I know that some of you are waiting on thank you's and they are so coming, but I've made an executive decision to sell my whole stash.  (No gifts, because they are special)  Anything I have bought will be posted at a significant discount to you and others!  You give me a couple of days, and I'll give you the stash of a lifetime.

I figure it this way... I can't knit, so all it is going to do is sit.  When I can knit again, I can buy more.  And if I would ask someone to knit for me I can buy for that, too.  And I'm even looking into donating a portion to a charity.  Yahoo for a clean house!!!!

Anyone wanna come give me a haircut?  He he.
