2 days ago, I was sitting in my car, waiting for T's bus and reading my mail. I noticed I had received my Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin' Sock Club package. I was seriously considering giving it away. But, I was curious, so I took a peek.
I haven't been in the best of spirits lately. The last time I was at my oncologists office, he mentioned that I may be on chemotherapy for a lot longer than originally planned. I really truly try to be strong, but, I have to tell you CHEMO WEEK SUCKS!!!
As you may recall, I haven't really been feeling the whole knitting thing since the surgery. I CAN knit, I just don't feel like it.
At any rate, I opened the package to find this absolutely breathtaking skein of oranges, reds, pinks and golds. The skein is aptly named FIREBIRD. Wow. Just what I needed! A firebird is also known as a Phoenix. I am going to take this as a sign that I need to rise out of those ashes, sooner than later. So along with Poison Ivy, that's it for now!
Just wanted to say "Hi" and that I'm thinking of you! Don't feel pressure about not knitting. I go through phases where I don't knit for 6 months or more and then suddenly I'll get the urge again. Just do what makes you happy, now. Love, Anne
